Dicroidium is an extinct genus of fork-leafed seed fern that grew throughout Gondwana during the Triassic (around 252 - 201 million years ago). Its remains have been found in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and Antarctica. Dicroidium can be distinguished from other seed ferns by a forked rachis (the shaft of the leaf), giving its leaves a forked or split appearance. This plant is a favourite of Mussaurus.
