Creatures in Jurassicraft now have the ability to reproduce with each other. In order to breed, a male and female of the same species must spend considerable time around each other, after which they'll produce a clutch of eggs (or a litter, in the case of live-bearers). If you don't want them to reproduce then what you need to do is put the males in one cage, and the females in another.
If left alone, an egg will automatically hatch after 5 minutes, and the baby will be wild. However, you can right-click on the egg to pick it up.
Clutch/litter sizes by species Edit
- Brachiosaurus: 4-8 eggs
- Coelacanth (live birth): 1-3 babies
- Dilophosaurus: 2-4 eggs
- Gallimimus: 2-6 eggs
- Microraptor: 1-5 eggs
- Mussaurus: 2-8 eggs
- Parasaurolophus: 4-6 eggs
- Triceratops: 2-6 eggs
- Tyrannosaurus: 2-4 eggs
- Velociraptor: 1-7 eggs
- Warning: Sometimes the game will glitch making the dinosaurs lay more eggs then they normally do!
